Government, public authorities and non-government organisations (NGOs), such as environmental organisations, are all facing a particular challenge: They have to implement their sustainability postulates within their own organisation as well if they are to act credibly in the area of enrionmental protection and sustainability.

E2 has also undertaken a pioneering role in this area: we have supported a large Swiss authority in setting up its environmental management. In addition, we have supported a large national environmental organisation in developing an environmental management system certified to ISO 14001.
Public administrations and non-governmental organisations find their environmental aspects to a particular extent in their services & be it in services, in the enforcement of environmental regulations (public administration) or in public relations (NGO). Due to its existing experience, E2 is particularly suited to develop the internal organisation, criteria and indicators for environmental management for public administrations and NGOs.
