Buildings as infrastructure or real estate as market segment - the construction and use of buildings are relevant for all of E2's clients. This can usually be seen in the eco-controlling data (company ecobalance, energy data).
Special attention to buildings is necessary in the management system: Investments (new constructions or renewal/refurbishments) define the environmental footprint of a building for years to come. Accordingly, the planning assumtions are primordial. Planning for flexibility concerning future uses enables a long-term use of constructions, which in turn increases financial and environmental payback.
